Skin is the biggest organ of the body, which means skin health is critical.
Skin cancer incidence is rising 6% per year in all genders and ethnicities.

The cosmetic effects of ageing on skin and the development of skin cancers result from multiple changes in three types of skin cells (fibroblasts, keratinocytes, melanocytes) and degeneration of extracellular components (collagen, elastin). These changes are accelerated by toxic chemicals that are produced in skin when it is exposed to all wavelengths of sunlight, all common atmospheric pollutants, and tobacco smoke.

Kutanios is developing peptides to defend skin against these molecules by sequestering the damaging molecules and promoting their loss during the desquamation of surface cells. As the peptides are completely biodegradable and manufactured by green technology, they also protect the environment while protecting our skin.
