Keith is a Staff Scientist with Novozymes A/S, a global industrial biotechnology company with a strong focus on enzyme production and commitment to sustainability. He received his PhD from Duke University and worked at both the University of Michigan and at the University of Utah before joining Novozymes in 2004. Since joining Novozymes, Keith has lived and worked in five global locations, including Denmark and China, and worked on projects ranging from strain development for biomass to biofuel conversion, to metabolic engineering for renewable chemical production, to enzyme applications for laundry.
Keith has most extensively worked on developing application relevant assays for screening enzymes for real world industrial applications. Additionally, Keith has been involved in industry-academia outreach programs and industry mentor-ship.
